The School Building Authority awards $46.5 million to schools across West Virginia.
The School Building Authority held their annual meeting to award money to schools across West Virginia. Clay County was one of the counties to receive funds for Clay County High School. The project includes new windows, a new HVAC system, along with updating the restrooms, gymnasium, and locker room. The school also plans to update their security system. Putnam County also received funding for renovations to Hurricane High School. The funds will be used in partnership with a local contribution of $500,000.
